Soya bean
is predominately grown by Uganda farmers as a cash crop. The buyers are mainly
local vegetable oil millers, grain and livestock feed mills who use soya bean
as raw material.
The small
grain crop with a high protein content which can be used in production of many
agro products, is ranked the most important grain legume crop world wide
