Farmers obtain price information by receiving prints from SOCADIDO and through the radio program SOCADIDO operates. The farmers compare these prices and calculate whether it would be profitable for them to sell their milk in other markets than the one in Soroti. It showed them that this is not profitable due to the transport prices."

"Farmers interpret the prices they receive from INFOTRADE. It makes them aware of the different prices in the country and they started calculating whether it would be profitable to sell poultry in another market which offers higher prices than the one they usually sell to. Furthermore, it prevents them from accepting prices from middlemen which are too low, because the farmers are now aware of current prices."
