Radio is recognised in Uganda as one of the most affordable avenues of communication. With over 200 licensed (as of July 2010 - Source: Uganda Media Council), disseminating information has never been simpler. Infotrade is partnering with radio stations which already have agricultural/farmers programmes (or not) to disseminate food prices whenever these programmes are aired.

Notice Boards

Infotrade produces a weekly agricultural market price report. This report is mainly disseminated through email and our website. In order to reach market information users who cannot easily access the internet, our field officers print out these reports and post them on notice boards erected at markets and district officers.

Farmers and producers can advertise their produce by simply writing on a blackboard which can be found at markets in districts where we are operational. This service comes at no cost to the seller or buyer.
