Over the last 10 years market information has realised increase in interest and this has led to use of all the available channels of information dissemination including radio. Farmers, wholesalers, producers, and even end-consumers all have one thing in common - the radio.


Studies has shown that radio is the most easily accessed avenue of accessing information on top of SMS, TV, internet and print media. At Infotrade we endeavor to make deep analysis on market information collected thrice a week which is then shared with selected radio stations in major districts in Uganda. Radio stations can then use this same information sandwiched between additional agricultural tips and information during their weekly farming programs .

We have collaborated with major radio stations who take the time to interpret the information and package it into meaningful content for their listeners. Information currently covers 46 commodities and the service is spread out over 34 district markers.
